The Senior Elite Squad took 1st place in the Open Contemporary, followed by the second years taking 2nd place.
The second years won the open Jazz section, with the Elite Squad taking 2nd, and the first years taking 3rd! A super and unheard of result!

A select number of students were chosen to perform with Tim Campbell at the Black and Blue Ball for the Pratt family.
Its a busy third term with contracts for K.P.M.G, Mary K and The Million Dollar Lunch at Crown Casino. Selected Full times will work with the Industry Best to Make each Event a Huge Success. On top of this the Elite Students prepare for the week long performances at Hisense Arena as special guests of the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge, performing their show stopping Mary Poppins Medley that received 1st place in the Open Song and Dance Section at the Phoenix Competitions
The professional Development Dancers are starting rehearsals for the November Showcase "Fashionista". This year will be bigger than ever, with guest choreographers Andrew Hallsworth, Yvette Lee, Amanda Stone, Alvin Di Castro, Etienne Khoo, Travis Khan, Kim Adams and Directed by Todd Patrick.
Auditions for Full Time start Saturday the 25th July. Places are limited this year due to the high number of auditionees and only 25 places being offered for 2010

Lisa Norman from "Chicago" on West End in London popped in for an informal chat with the Professional Development class and explained the ups and downs of working on West End.
Director, Todd Patrick was invited as a Guest Lecturer for the Options Tertiary Dance Festival which was held in April.

PROJECT ELEMENT
We were fortunate enough to have Patrick Chen, Meredith Kerr and Lee Daniels from the USA come to the studios and conduct Hip Hop and Lyrical classes in May. Thanks to Naomi Valodia for organising.
HAIRSPRAY
PSA was fortunate enough to be asked to open the Australian premiere of the Hairspray Movie. Performing with the lead actors from the movie who flew out from America for the openting, the professional development dancers had the time of their life performing to an audience of over 1500 people. An amazing experience for all involved, yet again showcasing PSA's talent.
JUNIOR/ELITE SQUAD
PSA is extremely excited to announce the Junior/Elite development course starting in 2008. Finally young dancers who want to take their dancing to the next level have a course specifically designed to cater to their needs and talents. Check out the new page coming soon.

NEW TERM
This term looks to be bigger and better than the previous ones. Different teachers will be working on the Professional Development show case. It will be a show not to be missed, and is currently planned for November 4 and 5 at the National Theatre in St Kilda. More information to follow as it is confirmed.
